How Does Local Cryotherapy Work?

Our staff uses a small hand held device that disperses vaporized liquid nitrogen to the troubled area. The subzero temperatures work rapidly to flush the tissues of fluid and waste, causing a massive return of regenerative blood supply as the area rewarms after application. This therapy is a very effective way to quickly reduce inflammation and improve range of motion. The treatment lasts between 5-7 minutes and far exceeds the benefits of traditional icing.
