Graston Technique – Also known as Scraping or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), is used to help break up scar tissue and reduce fascial restrictions. It is a manual therapy that uses metal instruments to effectively massage or “scrape” the affected area.

Graston has been used to effectively treat and improve mobilization of several soft tissue injuries (damaged muscles, tendons, or ligaments). Clients usually use Graston twice a week for a period of 4 to 5 weeks. According to the Graston website, results are usually experienced by the 3rd or 4th treatment.
